wow that finally launched i started a post about it a while ago and it said that it wouldn't be good for gaming but for a busniess compputer or a very small budget computer this would be the best card.

Yeah, I saw it too. They don't benchmark very well at all. They'll be replacing the 6200ish series. They'll probably go down in price pretty fast after the initial month or so.

Well considering the 7-Series is basically just a label on it because it performs like crap...yes it can. Good if you're only watching movies on your computer.

As one of the reviews states, for $100, the X1300pro is a much better option.

Who would buy this? http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16814161162

Why would you need a cooler that big, oh wait a minute, for some heavy overclocking lol. OMG it's Xfire ready! Wow two of those will pwn, maybe get 13 fps in COD2!!

Reading this cracks me up http://www.hisdigital.com/html/produ...d=208&view=yes

Too bad all games that have such features will kill the card by pimp slapping it to death

The X1300pro is actually a very fast card considering the price. Certainly faster than the 7300GS, and yet I don't see you bashing that. Here, let me lay out the specs of both of them to you in black and white:

7300GS:

Pixel Pipelines: 4
Memory: 256MB, GDDR2, 64-bit, 533MHz (effective)
Core clock: 550MHz
Maximum resolution: 2048x1536
Price: $99

X1300Pro:

Pixel Pipelines: 4
Memory: 256MB, GDDR2, 128-bit, 800MHz (effective)
Core clock: 600MHz
Maximum resolution: 2500x1600
Price: $99

As you can clearly see, the 1300Pro has a significant advantage over the 7300GS, mainly due to the fact that it has 128-bit memory, and the memory is clocked at 800MHz, where as the memory on the 7300GS is 64-bit and clocked at 533MHz. Not only that, but the X1300Pro's core is 50MHz faster than the 7300GS. AND it has a larger maximum resolution (not that anybody would go that high on a budget card, but still, it's nice to have the option). You purposely linked to an X1300Pro made by an overpriced off brand with a strange cooler. Sapphire is to ATI as eVGA is to nvidia, so lets take a look at what sapphire has to offer instead:

Hmm, what do I see? I see a price tag of $99 and a normal looking cooler. You would like to know who would buy one? I would. In fact, I am getting one for the budget PC I am building for my parents.

It is basically just not a gaming card. It would be a great card for a HTPC or something.

My post was a little off-topic. I was making fun of that specific card, not the X1300Pro's.

I was just laughing at how companies make these cards to be so powerful, yes for the price it is ok and I know the X1300Pro is better then the 7300GS it's just so ridiculous what they are doing to sucker people in. Putting those in Xfire is a huge waste of space and money (200 bucks for the cards + Xfire mobo). I have nothing agianst X1300Pro's in general I just have a problem with that X1300Pro.

I just don't see the point of a cooler that large on a card that is intended for non-gaming/heavy rendering use.

I don't know why you wouldn't get a 6600GT over the X1300Pro for a personal computer, unless your building computers in large quantities where 30 bucks cheaper per card saves you a lot of money. It's just that for 30 bucks you get MUCH better drivers.

So your saying you would get a X1300Pro over this http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16814130214
