didnt they stop selling 6800GTs on newegg or was i not seeing it for these many months?

Yea the 6800ultra was discontinued but they still sell GTs for a high price.

ah ok i thought i was seein things. and is the ASUS 6800GT a good card cause its the cheapest one excluding the aopen with the rebate?

Asus isnt bad but they are pretty much overpriced. I prefer the Leadtek 6800GT w/ the huge copper HSF.

ASUS video cards are always overpriced, and in my experience, dont perform as well as the other brands. Id go with either leadtek or eVGA

If you're in the market for a 6800GT I'd consider looking at the 6800GS. NVIDIA's sucessor for the GT.

Not to be rude but you should take a look and read the thread first. Hes not looking to buy it he just saw it and was wondering if he was on acid or something. He has a 7800GT
