CPU
Newegg.com - Intel Core 2 Duo E7200 Wolfdale 2.53GHz 3MB L2 Cache LGA 775 65W Dual-Core Processor - CPUs / Processors

RAM

um totally get a e2180 or e2200. overclock it though. Make sure you get the new rp550 with the pcie power cords. Go with 2gb tracers or geil ram both are great.

E7200 is a fine choice.

Also the power supply in that case is rubbish. Get a Corsair 450vx. You could also change to a 8800gt for a bit more.

Also i am not sure about that ram. This is a much better choice Newegg.com - G.SKILL 2GB (2 x 1GB) 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 800 (PC2 6400) Dual Channel Kit Desktop Memory - Desktop Memory

yeah but for 600, the pentium dual cores are better. Seeing as the e7200 isn't really comparable to the e8400
