M Muffin Man muffin enthusiast Messages 2,724 Location new york Jun 27, 2009 #35 the stock heatsink comes with pre-applied thermal paste. if you're gonna keep the cpu at stock or slightly OCed speeds, then it should be fine. any serious OCing will require you getting a better cpu cooler, which are about $20-$40.
