Okay since I got a new job and am making some money I figured screw it I'll break my rule of not spending more than $30 on a mouse but I still don't wanna go crazy and spend a ton of cash. I need to know some stuff before before buying.

1. What is a good mouse in this price range (wanting wireless)

2. Is wireless really gonna screw up gaming that much?

3. What is better, optical or laser?

I think thats it for now but I might add something later.

1. Stated by vernong
2. Wireless does sometimes lag abit. It's best to go wired, guarantee low latency.
3.Laser is better than optical, but optical is enough for gaming.

also the g5 is another choice, but its 15$ more..... but i wonder if either one is worth it....

funny a week ago it was the same price at 40$ but the g5 had a higher shipping/handling price

I personally own the MX518, and I must say it's the best mouse, I've ever used. It's really smooth, good grip, great size for bigger hands, quiet clicking, and two side buttons.

I prefer wired than wireless. No lag and no worry for battery change.

$40 is not that heavy, but I'd say it's worth it...although I spent only $32 on ebay.
