Default Which 4870 1Gb?

I plan on buying my brother a 4870 1Gb version. He's playing on a 22" widescreen monitor, and games like Fallout 3, Dead Space, and Cod 4 mostly. Which version would be the best choice:

Newegg.com - ASUS EAH4870 DK/HTDI/1GD5 Radeon HD 4870 1GB 256-bit GDDR5 PCI Express 2.0 x16 HDCP Ready CrossFire Supported Video Card - Desktop Graphics / Video Cards

Newegg.com - ASUS EAH4870/HTDI/1G Radeon HD 4870 1GB 256-bit GDDR5 PCI Express 2.0 x16 HDCP Ready CrossFire Supported Video Card - Desktop Graphics / Video Cards

Newegg.com - SAPPHIRE 100259-1GL Radeon HD 4870 1GB 256-bit GDDR5 PCI Express 2.0 x16 HDCP Ready CrossFire Supported Video Card - Desktop Graphics / Video Cards

I was leaning towards the Asus with the Dark Knight cooler. Just want some other opinions.

Thanks, Matt

dark knight or the sapphire. no reason for a reference cooler when they are the same price.
thats so cheap after MIR.

^ I notice you have one too. What res do you play at, and does it perform well? I'm sure it's pretty sick.

i play at 1920 x 1200 and yes...it slays, my friend.
unfortunately the non-reference coolers were not availible when i bought mine. the stock cooler is pretty loud (as usual with ATI). does a great job of cooling it, but its loud. wish they would have had that non-ref sapphire when i had bought mine. ah well.

Sweet, sounds good. Have you overclocked it all? I hear that they aren't great at overclocking.
