I would spend money on a new monitor, at least a 22"....it will make everything you do on the computer MUCH, MUCH better, not just games...

the 22 i bought, Asus VH226H- 1080P HD 2ms responce (so 21.5inch) dropped to about 190 from the 220 I bought it for, very nice, I love it. Things are clear and pretty and I haven't gotten to use the HD port yet due to no card to hook up to it with, but I expect great things.

it also has 2 back speakers, which, I have tested, and although they are pointed away from you , they still have decent sound.
