Default 4830 or 9800 GT?

I have about $100 to spend on an upgrade of my 8600 gt.

Should I wait a few more months? Will either the 4830 or 9800 last me a year or two at medium levels?

Here are my three choices so far. Please let me know if I can get better performance/value elsewhere.

THANKS!

The Hd 4830 is faster than the 9800gt/8800gt. $100 after mir is a good price for a 4830 and the cooler on it looks ok too.

Supposedly too the 4830 can be overclocked to match the 4850 the cooler is supposed to be really great

It still lacks some of the components on a 4850 they have been laser cutter removed if memory serves

So 4830 over an oc'd 9800 gt. Sounds good to me.

Let me guess, is it the steam processors?

One more question,

Is the 4850 worth the extra $$$ over the 4830?
