the only things i really disagree w/ the previous build are the MOBO and that he was gonna have you use a Power Suppy that came w/ a case. You should NEVER do that. They are poorly made and unreliable. If you're Power Supply breaks if compromises the parts of you're entire system. it's very important to have a reliable PSU.

P.S. that should play Call of Duty 2, Counter Strike, Day of Defeat (those types of games) pretty well at medium-high to high setting and still get decent frame rates.

you should still pick apart the builds we give you until it's exactly what you want though.

i know i said to go w/ ASUS or MSI for a mobo but this one was cheap and on sale w/ good reviews too. and it's still a well known brand...just not known to be the best of the best.

Or you could buy something that has been used for a short while.

I have some barebones i'd sell for cheap. Case, 550w PSU, geforce 6800GS, DFI infinity motherboard, DVD-ROM, and an AMD 3200+. You'd only need some memory and a hard drive to complete it.

And my 6800GS is loads better than a 6600

thanks jordo but i think im gonna wait a bit for some deals, and thanks for the tip about the power supply, i think im just gonna buy another power supply for the case.
