4 x 512MB = 2T?

If I get 4 x 512MB memory sticks, will I be forced to run at 2T timings?

depends on the motherboard, and what the Athlon 64's memory controller allows. it's different for each core. I think the Revision E's (Venice, San Diego) are designed so they can use 4 sticks

As far as I know, Venices and San Diegos allow running 4x at 400MHz, as opposed to 333MHz. But does that mean 400MHz 1T timings or 2T timings?
