Default 3dmark question

I just ran 3dmark06 for the first time today and i got a score of 2718.
But this sounded a little low i think. This is my build:
Q6600 g0
Ds3r gigabyte
2 gigs crucial ballistix 800
22 inch widescreen samsung 226bw
6800gs evga
250gig hd

It's your graphic card. It's rather weak.

that GPU... is so old... ya.. blame the 6800gs it performs near the 7300gs

i ran it at 1024x768, which was the default, but i use it at 1650x1050. Once i get enough money i can get a new gpu, but my 6800gs outpreforms my friends 7300 by a good ammount

Not really. A 6800GT has double the pipelines, compared to the 7300GT. 6800GT is much better.
