If I were to Crossfire two of these, can anyone recommend a case that would fit two, and a motherboard?

Pretty much any ATX mid tower case would fit them. This is my case. It has plenty of room:

As for a motherboard, what type? for an AMD build or for an Intel build?

I would SLI 8800GT 256's becuase they are still very powerful and with 2 of them 512 memory will be enough for a while...it will be cheaper and more powerful than an HD3870 crossfire setup
