My LDT is at 4x with 290htt, and I am 100% prime stable for 8+ hours... No go at 5x however. The LDT is at stock voltage as well.

My LDT is at 4x not auto and stock voltage...htt is at 260...so i'm actually at 2.86 Ghz...which any company would round up so I did too :). I had htt at 264 and had put the RAM on 5:6 divider to DDR333 and it was a bit unstable...so I dropped htt a few and put the RAM 1:1, haven't had any issues.

Can someone explain exactly what LDT is and does? I understood the car example slightly.

So how do you suggest I go for 3.0ghz? Would something slow down if I lowered LDT and raised htt? I want to try to keep everything at least as fast if not faster than it came stock and raise the htt, or does something have to slow down for the cpu to speed up?

Also since i'm running the RAM 1:1 does that mean its running at DDR520 with the htt at 260? Just want to make sure i'm understanding things correctly.
