Waste of money... do some research and build your own... you'll save at least half of that

The antec sonata is way too small for what you are after.

Also I would not recommend RAID 0 over three drives. That's asking for trouble.

And a 1200W power supply is far over what you need, something like a Corsair 850TX would be ideal for you. And most people think the 940 isn't worth the money over getting a 920. And it's not worth getting Vista Ultimate, get Home Premium instead.
That is if, of course, you decide to build it yourself

Also, it's very difficult to read a plain list like this with lines like "Processors" or "memory" please only put down the actual componants. The worst one though; "Technology DDR2" - surely not.

Hokay, so here is what i have so far...:
Quad-Core Intel® Core™ i7 920 2.66GHz 8MB L3 Cache
MSI X58 Platinum SLI - ATX - Intel® X58 Chipset
6 x 2GB PC3-10600 1333MHz DDR3
Antec Nine Hundred Two - No Power Supply - Black
PC Power and Cooling Turbo-Cool® 860 - SLI Ready
2 x 500GB SATA 7200RPM - 3.5" - Seagate Barracuda® 7200.11 (Raid 0)
5.25" Bay Samsung 22x DVD+/-RW Dual Layer LightScribe (SATA)
Lite-On 4x Blu-Ray Disc Reader (SATA)
3.5" Bay 19-in-1 3.5" Card Reader (Black)
Video Card MSI nVidia GeForce N295GTX 1792MB GDDR3 PCI Express 2.0 (2xDVI)
Linksys Wireless-G PCI Adapter

Now i am wondering if I should go back to a 1200 watt supply and getting 2x 285 GeForces

AFAIK quad SLI never really worked very well, incidentally if you do that try a Corsair 1000W. Btw, since you have the money you might consider going for the Antec 1200 instead of the 900-2.

Edit: Oh, and depending on how much you're willing to spend, a small+fast SSD for the OS might be worth it.

IMO i7 isn't worth it yet... a good C2D setup will do everything you need and then some...

He can do a lot more with an i7, like tri SLi without bottlenecking. Plus he has $3k..
