holy shnazz that is a lot of money for a system, I've been dying to make a build of this caliber, give me a second, I will make a list in this same post in about 2 minutes...

Mobo: EVGA Nforce 680I SLI LGA775 Conroe ATX DDR2 2PCI-E16 2PCI SATA2 Sound GBLAN 1394 Motherboard - DirectCanada

(x2) GFX: EVGA E-GEFORCE 8800 Ultra 612MHZ 768MB 2.16GHZ GDDR3 Dual DVI-I HDCP HDTV Out Video Card - DirectCanada

(x2) RAM: Crucial Ballistix PC2-8500 DDR2 2GB 2X1GB DDR2-1066 CL5-5-5-15 240PIN Dimm Dual Channel Memory Kit - DirectCanada

CPU: Intel Core 2 Quad Q6700 Quad Core Processor LGA775 Kentsfield 2.66GHZ 1066FSB 8MB Retail Box - DirectCanada

PSU: OCZ GameXStream 1010W ATX12V 24PIN SLI Ready Active PFC ATX Power Supply 120MM Fan Black - DirectCanada

DVDRW: Samsung SH-S203B Black SATA DVD+RW 20X8X16 DVD-RW 20X6X16 DL 18X/12X INT DVD Writer OEM W/ Vista SW - DirectCanada

HDD: Seagate Barracuda ES 750GB SATA2 3GB/S 7200RPM 16MB Cache NCQ Hard Drive - DirectCanada

Comes to about $3155 total, needs a case though for like, another 60-150 dollars, free ground shipping and 6% tax. Just so you know, that is one BEAST of a system.

nice build there.. also to the OP.. you can't buy from Newegg since they only ship to the US....

but make a couple of changes... that OCZ GameXStream are known to have ripples so change it... plus its a bit much anyways.. why get a Q6700? ITS DOUBLE the price of a q6600 and is just 266 mhz faster anyways and has a 10x multiplier... also add a Cooler because a Stock Intel Cooler is crap..

it is... but its not worth it... its too pricey to be mainstream.. plus nobody wants to pay $619 for a 2GB Kit

I wouldn't have thought anybody would want to spend $3000 on a system, either, though.

the canadian dollar is very good right now, theres only abotu a 2 cents diference, but some places over charge, go to ncix for the cheapest prices, and best service. do not get a q6700 its pointless go for a q6600 and a 620 hx psu from corsair, plus get the xfx 8800 ultra, its known to be the most reliable and best performing one plus its cheaper.
