So burnt up another stick of 1GB crucial ballistix, that makes 3 now in a year. Looking to upgrade to a 4GB kit as I'll probably make the switch to vista 64 in the near future.

Looking for good performance for as cheap as possible, overclocking to be expected. Here is what is currently cheapest i can find in CAN:

NCIX.com - Buy Patriot Extreme Performance 4GB 2X2GB PC2-6400 DDR2-800 CL4-4-4-12 EPP Dual Channel Memory Kit - PDC24G6400LLK In Canada.

and

NCIX.com - Buy Patriot Viper Extreme Performance 4GB DDR2 2X2GB PC2-6400 DDR2-800 CL 4-4-4-12 Memory Kit - PVS24G6400LLK In Canada.

Don't really get what the difference is between the two...EPP? an coolers. Now I'm concerned that the coolers on the second set won't fit under my TRUE, anyone have any experience on just how high they are? Other brands I should consider? would like to stay around or under $50CAN if possible, doesn't leave too many options.

Others that are close, ignore prices, just using newegg for its links:

Newegg.ca - G.SKILL PI Black 4GB (2 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 800 (PC2 6400) Dual Channel Kit Desktop Memory - Desktop Memory

Newegg.ca - OCZ Platinum 4GB (2 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 800 (PC2 6400) Enhanced Bandwidth Dual Channel Kit Desktop Memory - Desktop Memory

Newegg.ca - OCZ Reaper HPC Edition 4GB (2 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 800 (PC2 6400) Dual Channel Kit Desktop Memory - Desktop Memory

Anyways, other suggestions appreciated, just wondering if an extra $20 is worth it over the patriots. Thanks.

Yeah, i just wish they weren't so freakn tall, i definitly wont get them under the TRUE, negates one slot.

Yeah my cooler blocks the first two slots on my board, but no biggie cause i just put them into the next two:
