Corsair ram is just fine. You can't say an entire brand is better then another. theres plenty of Corsair ram that will outperform g.skill and visa versa. In fact my xms2s are stable at lower timings then g.skill hzs but the g.skills can hit higher MHz. It all depends on your needs, but for the most part they are all pretty equal.

Ballistix > Dominator. Really, would you spend $350 on 2 sticks of 1 GB RAM? When you can get the Ballistix which comes with Heat spreaders and is a third of the price of the Dominator. Seriously, Crucial Ballistix > Corsair Dominator ; price and performance any day.
