you dont need a matched pair of memory for dual channel nor does it have to say it on it. But haveing a matched pair does help. And it has to be the same amount of RAM eg 128 256 512 1gig and so on.

so aslong as the motherboard supports the feature any type of memory that is the same type can be ran at dual channel?
