This might be a stupid question but here it goes:
I have a P35-ds3r mobo and it currently has Patriot Extreme 2GB (2 x 1GB) DDR2 800 PC2-6400 RAM with 4-4-4-12 timing (stock).
I have two more slots for RAM, and I want to get G.Skills 4GB (2 x 2GB) DDR2 800 PC2-6400 RAM with 5-5-5-15 timing (stock).
So I want to have a total of 6GB. Will this work or does the timing of ALL 4 RAM have to be the same?
FYI: I have a total of 4 RAM slots and 2 of them are colored yellow and the other 2 are colored red, I'm assuming these are to indicate same RAM usage for dual channel support.
