2900PRO Motherboard Compatibility

I am planning on upgrading from my 512MB 8600GT to a 2900PRO here soon.

I am just concerned about the size of the card fitting with my motherboard.

Here is my board:

What do you guys think?

Also, this is my Power Supply:
Gateway Support - 6501079 Delta 700 Watt Power Supply

I don't think I should have a problem there, but let me know what you guys think about the compatibility here. Mahalos

ya.. if you have a pci express x 16 slot.. which you do since ur using a 8600gt.. you have no problems...

i can't tell you if that psu has enough amps.. but it should.. i say you give it a go

I was reading some specs on the 2900PRO somewhere, and it said something about needing a "dual-width" PCI express slot, so that was the source of my concern.

Thanks for the input Nos, I think that I might just give it a go if I can get rid of my 8600GT.

That just means make sure you have enough room for the cooling unit, it takes up more room than a single slot card. It's basically double the thickness.

yes, and you can flash that 2900pro to an xt with ease from what i read.. once mine comes in i'll let you know how it goes!
