Ok, so I asked this in my other thread:

http://www.techist.com/forums/f77/hardware-bottleneck-240822/index3.html#post1873961

But the conversation took an interesting twist and drowned out the other questions. I'm set to buy and want to hit the local store tomorrow but before I do I need to figure out which RAM to go with. I do intend to watercool the CPU and GPU and get a good OC out of it. I'm not looking to break records but I do want to push the chip.

I'm looking at the 2600k and the Asus P9P67 Deluxe, now what do you guys recommend for RAM?

NCIX.com - Buy G.SKILL Ripjaws X F3-12800CL9D-8GBXL 8GB 2X4GB DDR3-1600 CL9-9-9-24 Memory - F3-12800CL9D-8GBXL In Canada.

NCIX.com - Buy Mushkin Enhanced Silverline Stiletto 8GB 2X4GB PC3-10666 DDR3-1333 9-9-9-24 Dual Channel Memory Kit - 996770 In Canada.

NCIX.com - Buy G.SKILL F3-12800CL8D-8GBRM Ripjaws PC3-12800 8GB 2X4GB DDR3-1600 CL8-8-8-24 1.6V Memory Kit - F3-12800CL8D-8GBRM In Canada.

NCIX.com - Buy G.SKILL Ripjaws X F3-10666CL9D-8GBXL 8GB 2X4GB DDR3-1333 CL9-9-9-24 Memory - F3-10666CL9D-8GBXL In Canada.

The 1333 with the 9 timings is half the cost of the 1600 with the 8s. Is it worth the extra with the OCing? I'm heading out tomorrow so any help you guys can provide would be great. Thanks.

First, thanks for the kind words in that other thread. No offense was taken, or meant on my part.

Did you check the QVL for your motherboard? You don't have to buy off the list, and certainly there are many compatible offerings not listed, but when you do buy off the list, you can be as certain as possible that the RAM you buy will work with that motherboard.
