The biggest concern I have is the heat issue. The mobo has reviews saying it runs hot, and the 8800 GTX runs hot, as everyone knows. Will the air ventilation from the case be enough? And thank you for anything else you guys pick up.

I didn't read the case link, but fill up all fan slots and try to keep an even amount of In fans and out fans. Plus you could probably mod the case so fans are pointing directly on the motherboard and chipsets. You can also Mod the Underside of the Motherboard and case and do the same thing with prehaps water cooling or a peltier.
Also put a fan on the RAM and get a scythe ninja heatsink with Artic Silver 5 as the heatsink.

Other than that it looks good.
Also, a good fan to put on that Heatsink is A delta Fan or a tornado.

I am going to build a computer soon that seems similar to that except for the mobo, video card, and processor.

I do not know about computers as much as a lot of other people on this site, but if it were me, I would have gotten the E6600 and then have overclocked it. Personally, $200 more does not seem worth it for a processor thats only .26GHz faster.

Great build by the way. I cannot wait until I build mine.

You can save alot more money, by getting the evga 680i motherboard, and the C2D e6600. You can save like $400, by going with the evga 680i and e6600. I agree with Ste, on the power supply.

PC Power & Cooling is a definite yes but i do believe they have a model that is around 180 that runs 550watt or so

GET THAT. there is no need for 800watt or 750 watt or even 650 watt

Your ASUS card is going to run AMAZING id love to see it in action.

I agree on it seeming excessive, There's a few places you could save money. If I were you, I'd go with what " b1gapl" said and go with an Antec power supply. Antec's 550 watt is on sale on newegg this weekend for $90 and it'll run what you have there and more. Not to mention it costs a ton less. Air cooling should be fine, That case is huge since it's a full tower. You shouldn't have any problems with the right fan setup and ventilation.
