yes i am going to game and like i said i might be also watching full hi def movies. I will probably get a 9800 gtx or something like that so it can handle 1920x1200. also where is that 4ms 24" lcd that you told me? is it a reliable maker? like samsung

That's what I'm using and I absolutely love it. I've been using it almost a full year now and not a single dead pixel or complaint. It's a fantastic monitor. I did pick it up for under 200 shipped back when it went on sale, although even at the higher price I'd still recommend it.

hmm but i'd prefer 1920 x 1200 native resolution but does anyone here have a 24" lcd monitor?
