Well, the 22" is still only 1680x1050. Trust me when I say 1920x1080 is worth it.

Well it sounds like 24" is the way to go. I hope to understand the differences more clearly when I receive it.

To calrify, screen size does NOT equal resolution. Resolution is what affects your FPS so you will get the same fps on a 22' 1080p (though you only linked a 1050p) or a 24' 1080p. As others have said 1080p looks crisper and better than 1050p and your graphics card is more than enough to handle it.

Eh, If you're looking to spend around $150 I'd recommend going with something like this:

Newegg.com - Asus VE228H 21.5" Full HD HDMI LED BackLight LCD Monitor w/Speakers ASCR 10,000,000:1

21.5", 1920x1080, HDMI, DVI, VGA, and speakers. I've got an older model (same size/resolution) and my a few of my friends got the 23.6" versions that have the same resolution and I prefer my smaller screen to their bigger screens.

Thanks for the recommendation but budget wasn't much of an issue and it pretty much came down to those 2. I was just trying to get some answers on the differences from 1050 and 1080 and if the extra 2" was worth the extra $50.

Plus I don care what anyone says...size DOES matter .

I honestly don't think I could buy a 21.5" monitor. Between the 24" I linked and that 21.5", it looks like the 24" has less ms and is brighter.
