Default 22" Spectre LCD

Why aren't the colors static? I can see lines moving through the darker colors. For example if there is a dark blue color I can see lines moving. Is not a static picture as it seems like the color is animated. I hope I'm making sense.

Ps.s I like this monitor. Its very sharp and fast. The only downside is that flickery lines moving and some smudges. Like the vbulletin navicon on techist.com has smudges. And the grey background that borders this forum has some flickry lines moving .

MOnitor defect or it needs some software adjustment?

That happens to me if I turn down the monitors refresh rate below 60hz. can yours go any higher than 60? Check display settings somewhere.

check your: display properties/advanced/monitor/monitor settings - refresh rate

Its at the maximum of 60hz. there is also another 59hz.
