Definitely not... Cyberpower is overcharging for sure...

I recommend building it yourself

Got a lot of good parts there already, I would agree with vernon, you shouldn't build through cyberpower but build it yourself. Basically just buy all the parts you see there, but I would buy a gtx285 rather than 2 gtx260's, instead of the 1kw psu get a corsiar 750tx, also just get a normal dvd burner rather than blu-ray unless you want to watch lots of blu-ray's, and get the intel i7 920 over the 940.

To be honest, building it himself will cost him about the same as well.

Like seriously, SLI GTX 260's and the i7 940.

That ain't cheap.

Not to mention the X58 board and the DDR3.

Well.. I think if it was Canada that's be true Hussein...

But lets calculate what we could get for $2100 USD though...

- A good water cooling system Aspire would recommend
- Core i7 940 (not that I'm recommending it)
- Biostar X58
- A Blu-RAY/ DVD-RW Drive
- An actual gaming mouse and keyboard
- GTX 295
- Corsair 850tx
- 6GB DDR3
- Sound Card
- 1 TB of HD space..
- Some fancy schmanzy glowy case that impresses friends but actually sucks (JK go with the something good though, a case that's good with H2O cooling)

Hmmm, I put his build together on newegg. If he went with newegg he would save like $200~

Well taking the recommendations I made you can knock out at least a few hundred bucks. So s/he's looking at saving upwards of 400-500 bucks, and getting rid of that horid cooler is probably another 100ish.

You can save around $270 by getting the 920 instead of the 940 and they perform about the same.

I put together an i7 build for a buddy that had a 4870X2 and an i7 920 back when i7 first came out. With case total came to $1700. You are being way overcharged. Video cards and cpus have gone down in price since then and your build today is $400 more than what I was able to put together. Your getting ripped off.
