He had 605 FSB * 8 for a rated FSB of 2419....lmfao

Thats just insane. I mean my E6300 is a pretty nice OC and its only at 1800 something FSB

my friend has a 3.4ghz prescott and he tried to OC it, blew up his motherboard.

i heard form another thread that some OC team got a P4 to 8ghz. but that only makes it comparable to mid range core2s lol.

That thing, if it was actually benchable would beat any C2D under 4GHz

it happens from time to time. it depends in part on your motherboard and in part on how smart you are. if your setting out on record breaking attempts you need to heatsink all the voltage regulators . even then it depends on your motherboards design. i know a guy who blew a voltage reg on phase change cooling with a high clock on an e6400. regulator just fried from the current pumped through it.
