Can you guys look over this and make sure I haven't screwed up yet? If you have any suggestions, please feel free to add. I need to try and cut this to $1000. I'd really love to run Crysis well...I'm guessing it will murder my build...

Extra notes: I plan on using this mainly for gaming, so I'd like to future proof it as much as I can with $1000. No monitor, mouse, or keyboard needed. Basically, I want the best PC to run Crysis on as I can get with $1000.

Get 2 9600 Gt instead if your set on the 780i if you just want a single video card change your mobo to an x38... Get a different HDD like the Seagate 7200.11 500gb or 750gb. Change your ram but if you're set on that one that's fine...

Thanks, I just changed to a Seagate 7200.11 500g.

So about the GPU and Mobo...

What do you recommend?

1. Same 780i with 2 EVGA 9600GT
2. x38 with same GPU (or a different one)

Also any RAM recommendations?

Thanks a lot for the quick reply :)

The 780i with the 9600 gt is really nice and will outperform the x38 with the 8800 gts g92... but it will cost more.

Either way is really good. Depends on how much you want to spend.

Crucial ballistix is usually the way to go.

Really good deal actually and they look sweet! ^^

Don't forget you get a $25 rebate with them.

You have the 8800 gts g92 link up instead of the 9600 gt link btw.

get an e8400 or xeon e3110
better for current games
cheaper

also ive heard great things about the Hiper 580w PSU(ignore the newegg reviews) ask B1gapl

Thanks for the advice, I just replaced the RAM.
The 2x 9600 gt w/ the 780i look really good right now, but I might end going with the x38 with the 8800 gts to make ends meet.

Also a noobish question, but should I order 2 batches of the Crucial Ballistix Tracer 2GB (2 x 1GB) so I have 4GB or is this not really needed?

4gb isnt really needed right now...also you will need a 64bit OS

Thanks, I should be getting Vista Ultimate in the mail (for free)
Should I use that or try 64-bit XP?

Do you guys think I'm spending too much on the case or PSU?
