The WD 640gb Black would be the best bet here.

Agreed but this guy keeps undercutting everything we say so I didn't want to suggest something even more expensive

I didn't notice you posted the green version, lol. Either way, it would be a better bet.

>_<

Lol I really am trying to be frugal.

But ya, I posted the wrong HDD.

I had originally had the 640gb up, but as the cost of other items rose, I was trying to undercut other items to keep the balance.

This was my first post HDD:

Newegg.com - Western Digital Caviar Black WD6401AALS 640GB 7200 RPM 32MB Cache SATA 3.0Gb/s Hard Drive - Internal Hard Drives

This one is for $10 less...but it has a 16mb cache instead of a 32:

Newegg.com - Western Digital Caviar SE16 WD6400AAKS 640GB 7200 RPM 16MB Cache SATA 3.0Gb/s Hard Drive - Internal Hard Drives

I would switch to this PSU. The extra watts and amps will be good to have. This raises the price a little but its still under $1200. If you can squeeze it in, try to get this memory instead but either one is good Newegg.com - G.SKILL 6GB (3 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800) Triple Channel Kit Desktop Memory - Desktop Memory

I'd say everything else is good

The Corsair 550 will be fine. You'll be better off going with 6Gb of DDR3 1600 rather than 3Gb of DDR3 1866.
