Hey all!
So I am attempting to build a budget rig that, with peripherals, hit around $1,000-$1,200. I have a blueprint of parts from a horribly easy-to-find source that maintains this budget theme...but I wanted some input from individuals whom are familiar with Gaming Pc Builds. (I would like to play Bioshock without wanting to kick the tower in frustration.) Any input would be spiffy! But anyways, here's what I have thus far:
Raidmax Smilodon Extreme case
Newegg.com - RAIDMAX SMILODON Extreme Black ATX-612WEBP 1.0mm SECC Steel ATX Mid Tower Foldout MB Computer Case With 500W Power Supply - Computer Cases

(Already have this one!)
WD Caviar 6401AALS Internal 640GB Hard Drive
Newegg.com - Western Digital Caviar Black WD6401AALS 640GB 7200 RPM 32MB Cache SATA 3.0Gb/s Hard Drive - Internal Hard Drives
Samsung SH-S223F 22x DVD+/-RW DL
mwave.com: SAMSUNG SH-S223F/BEBE black 22x double layer DVD+\-rw SATA drive w/ software (Bulk)
Windows Vista Home Premium 64-Bit
(I'm pretty sure I can get it less on Egay, but...)
Microsoft Windows Vista Operating System 66I-01939 Home Premium SP1 64-bit English 1 Pack DSP OEI DVD-Best Computer Online Store Houston Buy Discount Prices Texas-Directron.com
As for peripherals, I have no clue. I really don't mind small monitors. A 22' would be great. I am trying to be super mindful of budget, but would like some decent hd resolution for a decent price.
So! That's it! Thanks in advance!
