Default 17" vs. 19" lcds in gaming

hey why do i keep hearing people say that 17" lcds are better than 19" lcds for gaming? they both support the same resolution (1280x1024) so whys 17" better?

i think it has somin to do wit the pixel size or something? but i wanna make sure because i might switch from 19" to 17"

idk but im using a 19" LCD right now and its beautiful

refersh is 75 Hz so thats not bad

17" monitors look better at 1024x768, which is the standard resolution for gaming. If you want to play higher than 1024x768, it will require much more frequent video card upgrading. 19" monitors, because of their larger pixel size, give you a washed out image at 1024x768, which makes the games look plain ugly. Go for a 17" if you want a good life out of your graphics card.

Other than that, I have no complaints about my LCD, and really would not use a CRT again except for the reason I stated above.
