Thats true. Prices between 19's 20's and 22's are minimal while when you hit 24'..... badaboom!

go for the Asus VK222 it's a beauty, HDMI,VGA, and DVI with a webcam for around $200 I love mine

multi card solutions are the only way to play 2560x1600..

and lets not forget multi-monitor set ups

and also.... crysis needs it as well

i've never been a fan of multi card solutions(though i'd still buy em for 3dmarks!)... but i must say i am in love with gtx260 SLi

never is a very vague statement

also 2 4830 and 4850's i'd say are worht it.. for the people that can't blow 300+ dollars on a single purchase.. say they wanted to have better performance.. but can't do it at that very moment.. they always have the options to get better later!

gtx 280 sli ain't worth it.. heck no...
but would i buy it... YES I WOULD...

when you start in buying the best of the best, its never financially worth it.. lol

multicard solutions are getting better....and nos is right, for high resolutions you don't have much of a choice

If a monitor doesn't have HDMI (only like DVI and VGA), can I just buy an HDMI adapter? Or are adapters just for people who don't have the cable, and HDMI is internally worked into the monitor?
