Default $1400 Gaming Build

Here's my future setup. Please critic it to death...

Aspire X-Plorer (Fan Control, window, side, top, front, back air)

Antec TruePower II (SLI compatiable and rock solid PSU)

ASUS A8N-SLI (Basic SLI board by ASUS, 16X SLI)

Opteron 148 (Headroom enough to OC to 2.8GHz?)

Zalman Copper CPU Cooler (Even more headroom to OC)

Patriot Signature 2x1GB RAM (Very Fast or so they say...BF2..*sigh*)

eVGA 7800GT (eVGA w/"step-up" program, OC'n warrantied)

Zalman Copper GPU Cooler (OC'n even more possible!)

2x 250GB WD SATA 16MB Cache HDDS (RAID0 500GB VHDD, 16MB Cache each!)

NEC DVD Burner

Creative 24Bit 7.1 Soundcard (Quality sound from my X-530's finally, extra FPS in games)

Total Price : $1400 give or take... So what would this system look like to buy in June or July, after high school graduation? How much could the price drop?

Should I get an Opteron 148? or should I look at the 248,165,150s?...

Should I get an Athlon instead? 3700+ or 4000+?...
