$1250 Make

Hello,
I plan on building a gaming rig with a budget of $1250 give or take $25. I have a ideas on what parts to get from reading previous posts and articles but would like your take on this rig. Forgot to mention this is from scratch no reused parts.(Only the Tower)

as for your comp i'd say start off with an AMD x2 maybe the 3800+ or 4200+

do you need software, monitor, or a keyboard? because if you don't, my machine was about $1300.

if you want the specs,i'll post them later, i gotta go though.

All I would need for this build is the machine and the operating system.

Perfect, my computer was about $1300 for the machine and OS, and it runs great. this is what i have:

case:
Antec Sonata II

MoBo:
**Deal with gfx card thru monarch computer: NF4 EVGA Motherboard (Amazing deal, great card and mobo)

Processor:
Athlon 64 X2 3800

Patriot Signature Series 1GB (2 x 512MB) 184-Pin DDR SDRAM Unbuffered DDR 400 (PC 3200) Dual Channel Kit System Memory

Hard Drive:
Seagate Barracuda 300gb 7200 RPM

Optical Drive 1:
NEC DVD burner

Optical Drive 2:
Light Scribe DVD Burner

Media Reader:
Athenatech media Reader

and then you can find OS somewhere cheap for about $80.

That comes to about $1200 or so total, i haven't added it all up.

Looks good, but you can probably drop the lightscribe DVD burner.

Yeah, save 40$ or so.
