No, the 45NM quads aren't nehalem... Thats a whole new archtechture which does away with the FSB.

There is no reason to get a P35 board when he wanted to spend nearly 300 USD on a 680 Board.

Really, just choose between all the previous X38 boards that were talked about.

This is what i get for not looking a PC's for 6 months, a whole load of confusion

Q6600, DDR3, 4Ghz, water cooling

How do i do the above ^ ^ ?

go with what ste is saying. x38 is great for OCing anyway

DDR3 is not worth it. The premium you pay for not much more speed is not worth it at all. Maybe get a board that supports both ddr2 and 3, that way when the prices drop you can get some. But now it is way overpriced.

No, but you don't need DDR3..

If you want full blown DDR3 Support wait for the X48 boards.

For suicide screen maybe, but he doesn't run it 24/7 that way.

I think he was asking 4 Ghz 24/7.
If you want it to be like that then don't get the Q6600, stay with your original choice.
