hey guys i have a 1k budget for my computer and i want to get a 8800gts 640mb for sure. intel or amd doesnt matter which for dual core. and 2gb ram.

ok nice AMD build instead of the Windsor get a 1.9 Ghz Brisbane and go OEM with a good aftermarket cooler, and u got an overclocking king! Core 2 Duo e4300 also King the tie will eventually be broken
 
If your overclocking than a e4300 > amdx2 3600. Per ghz the c2d is faster and you should be able to get at least as many ghz out of a e4300 as you could a 3600.
