What OS should I get? I've used XP my whole life so I know my way around it. Is Windows 7 that much better? I'd love the input.

Anything else that I may be forgetting?

main difference is that 64-bit will allow you to use more ram than the 3.5gigs (give or take) that 32-bit is limited to.
 
This is one of the best builds I've seen posted as a first try for input on these boards.

Thanks. I really tried to make sure eveything would work together. It took a while but I think I'm satisfied.
