Post Xtreme Music <-vs-> Platinum

I am thinking about getting the Xfi Xtreme Music and then get some better headphones

But then i realized im pretty **** close to getting platinum so i could easily get that, but sacrafice the better headphones

Basically i would just like your opinion on which one you would choose

Xtrememusic, the Platinum is more of a gimmick card. You will notice NO difference between those two sound cards. Just grab the nice headphones with the XtremeMusic.

Xtreme Music again. The Platinum has a bunch of features you probably will never use.

the platinum is just the same care with a remote and that extra pannel for the 5.25" external. You probably have no use for it. Ive also heard that the x-fi isnt really much better than the cheaper Audigy 2zs. Someone was saying that beyond the audigy its "just an expensive equilizer" but i dont know about that... I went with the x-fi anyway...

yeah.. thats what i thought, but does the xtreme music have enough connectors... ONLY 5? I dont think thats enough
