Default x850xt or 7800 gt

Hey im looking to upgrade my pc and i cant choose between the x850xt or the 7800gt i have no problems with ati or nvidia i just want to know which i would be better off with?

Most people here would say go with the 7800gt, so to avoid being flamed, I will too.

I have been on this forum for many years now just made a new account and i do know how people choose nvidia over ati but that satement did not help me at all.

X850XT is nowhere near the 7800GT in terms of performance. If you want an ATI card that competes with the 7800GT, go for the X1800XL. Even so, I say go 7800GT. I can't believe so many people still consider the X800 series cards.

XFX as I've never had anything else and also they are Nvidia's Official Partner.
