would this be any good at all for gaming ?

how much PSU should i look for ?

that looks great for gaming. are you building this?

if you are building this.. then be sure to get the 7900gt instead of the 7800gtx.. performs same/better and is a lot cheaper.

oh i just saw 2 of them.. well then just get ONE 7900gtx instead..

ram.. i would just get 2 X 1gb sticks... for future upgradeability..

powersupply.. you can go for the antec 550watt truepower..

4 sticks of 2*512, so that would be 8 in total?

4GB's, if what you mean ;), is a waste of money, You shuold only get 2GB's.

You shuoldnt be getting the 7800GTX's. You sould be looking at SLI 7900GT's

The X2 4800+ is an excellent choice.

The 2 150GB raptors, I personally think is a waste of money. just getting like two 36GB raptors and a bigger hdd like a 250GB seagate for all your files and folders would be a better choice. But hey since you have the money you can spend it your way

If you do have a lot of spare cash...

You shuold go with one of the PCP&C psu's

I would personally go for a 4400 and overclock it slightly to the 4800, and beyond speeds.

2x 1gb sticks is better than 4x 512 as you can run the dual in 1T instead of 2t which the 4 sticks have to run in.

I would personally go for a single 7900gtx or a NVIDIA GeForce 7900 GX2 1024MB when they come out if they are any good.

If you want speed, and that was 8gb you had on there: http://www.anandtech.com/storage/showdoc.aspx?i=2480 ....

Maybe you will change your mind on the drive: http://www.anandtech.com/storage/showdoc.aspx?i=2577&p=11

PCP&C are expensive and loud, it wouldn't be my choice, but great for the hardcore owner.

ASUS A8N32-SLI Deluxe Socket 939 NVIDIA nForce SPP 100 ATX AMD Motherboard - Retail

2 of these- ( they'll probably be in stock when i get ready to bu, asking now to budget and work O.T. to build )
eVGA 512-P2-N575-AX Geforce 7900GTX 512MB GDDR3 PCI Express x16 Video Card

this PSU Antec TruePower 2.0 TP2-550 EPS12V ATX12V 550W Power Supply 115/230

CORSAIR XMS 2GB (2 x 1GB) 184-Pin DDR SDRAM DDR 433 (PC 3500) Unbuffered Dual Channel Kit System Memory Model TWINX2048-3500LLPRO

so 2 equaling 2 gigs is better than 4 equaling 2 gigs. i thought that.

is this just to much ? i think it would play most games. it's little pricey but i think it wouldn' be antique for a few years. i think everything is needed 'cept the hard drives. going to reconfig with diffrent ones.

Wow, if you have any spare cash lying around, can you buy me a 1900XTX?

Seriously, that would be really kick ***. Did you win the lottery to pay for that?

plan on a lot of over time and selling a few toys i dont need any longer. and it only a monthly payment. financing is great.

i'm working a lot. i'm on my 8th week of not taking a day off. i'm at work now. really hard job. LOL gonna ride the O.T. wave as long as it last.

gonna pay off some small bills then start saving for this.

i only do deals if they are low or no interest. newegg has 6 months no interest and then "card" it for another 6 months @ 0%.
but seriously hope to pay most of it "cash".
