That mobo should support DDR3 1600 memory through overclocking. If you think you may want to overclock later, when you get a better heatsink, then you should go ahead and get the faster memory now

first ram kit you picked out will most likely work fine.
I ran my ram at 1600mhz w/o any problems on a similar board.
