good prediction. We saw socket 754 semprons coming when they were killing off socket 754 athlons. It's probably a way to not have to buy more machining tools. They'll just modify the portion of the process with the L2 cache and kill half of it. Then we'll have s939 semprons!

semprons are very good but make sure you get the 754 version with 64 bit, SSE2, SSE3, 90nm. I managed to track one down and its in the mail. They overclock very well. I would get the 2800+ model because its well priced and has 256k of Cache rather thasn 128k.

Yeah the sempron's do OC very well and you can't beat the price I have my 2600+ @ 2.2Ghz with a crappy board and crappy ram,If i had better stuff i know i could get a heck of alot more out of it
