Default Windows XP Pro x64 edition

Hey guys:
What's your opinion on the 64bit edition of windows? is it worth getting and working through driver issues, or is it best to wait a few months?

I wouldn't bother. Without the apps you prolly wouldn't see much of an improvement anyways.

And yeah, the driver problem is annoying. Some of my devices (printer, webcam) won't even have drivers for the 64 edition since they are somewhat old. I personally don't see what the point is.

In anycase, I usually don't upgrade my windows until 1 1/2 years have passed after its release. Gives them enough time to patch up any issues .

I have vista aswell, the only reason why it "sucks" is because it's supoosed to be realeased next year. Right now it's supposed to be for developpers and testers, so no audio or no real fancy crap now, although drivers are a ***** to work with in windows Vista it's only for testing purposes...wait a couple of years. It's gonna kick some serious ***.
