Will windex and a paper towel damage my laptop screen / laptop material?

Should I use water and a soft cloth instead?

Or is there something better (that's also CHEAP!!)?

Bleach and one of those barbeque brushes with steel bristles. Be sure to scrub extra hard when you get to the screen.

Dont use Windex, or any ammonia-based cleaner. It will wreak havok on your screen (any LCD/TFT, for that matter).

One readily available solution to cleaning LCDs is to use a mixture of water and Isopropyl Alcohol. The mixture cant yield any more than 50% Isopropyl Alcohol. Just use this to dampen a very soft rag, and wipe away! :D

I don't think the bleach and barbeque brush was a good idea!! It left signficant scratches on my LCD and totally f'd up my colors!!

Thanks a lot :-(
