Default will this vid card work with bf2?

hello iwas searching through newegg to look for vid card for the gaming rig im making and i was wondering is thsi card will work with bf2 i looekd it up and the vid card is under the supported vid card list so iwas wondering thx!

It will work, but you probably won't enjoy it. i.e. low framerates on minimal settings.

You would be much better off getting something like a 6600GT or 6800.

woah lol my budget for gaming rig is 500 and i found a vid card ATI radeon 8550 i have all of the other stuff i jsut need ot choose the vid card so is the ATI Radeon 8550 any good?

Well, with $500, you won't be able to play BF2 well, if at all. An 8550 will not work. (it might run it, but it would be basically unplayable)

yes it will work, i have a friend who is running that. everything is on low though, maybe 1 thing on medium but at least it will run it.

He has a 7900gt.

A 6600gt will play BF2 on medium settings smoothly, so consider that when you buy a card.

Are you 100% against using ebay? If not than get a 6600gt there.

Edit: What have you chosen so far for this PC?
