Default will this mp3 player work?

http://www.geeks.com/details.asp?invtid=KX-800S&cat=CSE

hard drive for it
http://www.geeks.com/details.asp?Inv...4MAL&cpc=RECOM

It says you can put videos on it so is that just to store videos or can you watch them too? I don't want to spend $50 on it and $30 on the hard drive and $15 for shipping just to find out that it doesn't play videos.

Oh yeah and the 10 hour battery life when playing music.

How long would the battery last if i watch movies and play no music?

5 hours???

The battery life is not going to be 10 hours. More like 8. They calculate battery life by making the player stay still, doing nothing but playing music, and time it.

i cant really think of a media player that just needs a flash card or a hard drive... but i have a motorola slvr L7 that plays mp3s and videos and takes a microsd card. i picked it up for about 150 in august, so you can probably find it at around 100 by now.

Sure they may be cheap, but they'll be imported knockoffs that dont work for crap.
Check eBay for a used Zen or iPod, you're money will be better spent there than a knockoff that will die in a year.

I don't want a cell phone and sd cards can't hold a 4.50Gb video.
