I really hope it does. Im ordering all my parts today for the upgrade I'm doing and this is the only hold up I got.

Yes. Socket 939 uses DDR.

If you can only afford 1 gig, but plan on going to two later, buy a single stick of 1 gig. Then, when you get a second stick, you can run 'em in dual channel. 1 stick is faster than 2 sticks.

Sorry for the double post but I didn't see the bottom of the post and I could'nt find an edit button. I have 2x512 sticks already in. I heard from a good 3 or 4 people that 2 512 sticks are faster than 1 gb stick. Is that true? Either way I'm going to have 2 gb in my system after the upgrade anyway so its all good.
