Widescreen + normal monitor - advice please?

Hi, I need some advice. I'm thinking of getting a widescreen 19" LCD monitor to go with my 19" LCD ordinary monitor. Would a widescreen and a normal monitor look ridiculous together? Would the desktop even line up on them?

It will look fine. Vista will like widescreens also.

im pretty OCD when it comes to desk organization......i dont think i could stand having two different size monitors paired together. now i dont think having two different sized monitors running two different things or apps would be a problem.
but if you can live with it then it would be a cool pair. but one question.....why not just get another 19 inch lcd??

Ha, fair question! Mainly because I'm thinking of putting a tv card in, and running the telly on the second monitor. And a widescreen monitor would be good for that, wouldn't it? I'm not sure now! Plus there's a samsung one on ebuyer for £165, DVI and 4ms response time, cheaper than an ordinary LCD!
