Default Why no Seagate and WD ata-133?

I’m in need of a new hard drive and have noticed that there are no ata-133 drives from Seagate or WD at my usual online retailer. After checking the seagate website it seems that they dont make a 133 drive. Why is this? And should I get another brand with a 133 interface for better performance? I use seagate sata drives but have to get an ide as I have no free sata ports.

there isn't a very noticeable difference between ATA100 and ATA133

Send a message via AIM to schulz269

You can get a Pci card which you can hook up some more Sata drives up to it.
