Hi,

I am running Vista and I need to do a reboot due to some strange software on my pc - but anyway, when I reboot the machine I am prompted to press F2 to enter the BIOS (I need to change the boot order to that the CD is first so) but nothing happens, It seems to take about 15 seconds for the wireless keyboard to become activate. What can I do? is there anyway to change the boot sequence without entering the BIOS such as through windows or DOS maybe?

I hope that someone can help.
Thanks

This is why I always keep an old default keyboard in the closet. So if I need to do things with the BIOS I can plug in the old crappy board and it works nicely. Before I learned my lesson though, I went to my local computer repair place, explained my situation and that I didn't have an older model keyboard and they let me borrow one for a few hours. You might try it if you live in a smallish town. Or go to walmart and buy a cheapo one.
